Course Description: This course familiarizes students with keyboarding basics utilizing Typing.com's online training course. Students will also focus on the use and functions of the Google Suite of Internet applications as well as beginning their journey with the Microsoft Suite of software utilizing PowerPoint. Students will learn to effectively produce and distribute professional quality products for the school and workplace. Students will also be receiving training in financial literacy.
Objectives/Goals/Targets:
- Understand keyboarding basics
- Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and ethics
- Utilize Google word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and form creating software
- Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations.

Exploring Business Communications I
Course Description: This course has been designed to familiarize students with computer systems and Microsoft Word. Students in this course will learn to effectively produce and distribute professional quality word processing documents for the school and workplace. Students will receive training on Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety. The students will be utilizing an online training program to help them identify aptitudes, skills and interests, and matches them with educational and career pathways.

Exploring Business Communications II
Course Description: This course has been designed to familiarize students with computer systems, Microsoft Excel, personal financial management, career exploration, 21st century skills, and Delaware Child Labor law. Students in this course will learn to create spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Excel. Emphasis will be placed on formatting, editing, creating formulas, proofing, and properly saaving and sending work.
Objectives/Goals/Targets:

- Enter and edit data, use functions and formulas, and create and edit charts and graphs
- Learn personal financial management techniques of borrowing, budgeting and spending
